Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! All of the Dragon teachers are ready to jump into the new year after a restful break. Below is a LOT of information, but if we did not answer your questions, give us a call or send us a note.

The first day back for students is August 22nd

We are going to be using more doors for drop off. Please look out for the signage around the building on day one. Our school day starts promptly at 8:05 a.m. with a welcome from Ms. Brown. We will allow parents to walk with students to their classroom on the first day. Masks are STRONGLY encouraged due to student vaccination rates.

Students will be required to be in uniforms on day one. Please call the office if you are interested in free uniforms. 720.423.9120.

Dismissal is at 3:20. All students will be brought to the back playground where teachers will wait with their students until they are sent walking, to the bus, or they are picked up. Please communicate how your child will get home to the classroom teacher and office if necessary.

School Supplies

We provide all of our students with the tools they need to learn, however, we greatly appreciate it when we are able to have some supplies donated. A list of supplies items that we need is located here. These supplies are donated and then used by the school as needed. Please drop any donations off to the main office.

We had a LOT of exciting changes happen over the summer '22 break. Keep reading to learn more!

We have hired a new health tech who is bilingual. The team is hopeful that this provides family with faster and the most accurate information.

In addition, our own Mr. Murphy was promoted to an AP position in the district. While he will be missed, we were able to promote our own Ms. Mendoza to a Team Lead. In addition, Ms. Susana Vasquez has been promoted at another school. This will be a big change for us, but we know that Ms. Rosa Patron is ready for her new role at Cole!

Some wonderful teachers have decided to take on a new role at different schools or in different fields. We are so grateful for the time and energy they gave to Cole students. But, we are SO ready for you to meet our new Dragon teachers. They are: Lisa Gloyd (previous Cole teacher)-Kinder, Sage Zimmerman-2nd Grade, Madeline Rohlf-4th grade,  Jenna Raiola-5th Grade, Erin De Assis-Special Education, Ray Smalara-Special Education, Olivia Finholm-MI Center, Heather Duke-MI Center, and Elizabeth Schexnider-ECE. You can put a face to the name by visiting our staff directory page. Then when you recognize a face, you can introduce yourself and your students.
